Mercedes-Benz are a German automotive brand known for their sleek and stylish designs and classic German engineering. 

But they needed a guy on the ground in the UK.

THE CHALLENGE​

It all started with a need for localisation.

 

They were looking for someone who could expertly adapt existing email and SMS templates for a UK audience.

 

Getting the tone of a global luxury brand to feel genuinely local takes real care. Too stiff and it sounds translated, too casual and it loses the gravitas. This was a balancing act.

WHAT DID I DO?​

I rewrote their email and SMS templates for the UK market, threading the Mercedes voice through copy that felt native rather than localised.

 

That project led to an ongoing relationship, with fresh campaign copy, copyediting support, and transcreation work that's still going today.

THE RESULT

What started as a one-off localisation job became a long-term partnership.
