yzzy is a social media app built for real-life connection - not just endless doom scrolling.
It helps people meet through shared interests, and allows people to organise events, share skills, and make money doing what they love.

Why did they need a copywriter?​

yzzy had the idea, the features, and the ambition, but they needed a tone of voice that matched the energy of their Gen-Z audience.
Plus, they needed sharp, expressive UX copy that could guide users while keeping things conversational, inclusive, and fun.

What did you do?

I helped create a tone of voice that struck the all important balance of creativity and clarity.
I then used that voice to write the in-app UX copy, weaving yzzy’s unique voice into every swipe, tap, and scroll.
